Caterpillars 0-2 Years

Caterpillars, our early years nursery

Younger children enjoy smaller ratios of 1 staff to 3 children, so their individual needs are cared for sensitively and activities are extended based upon their own interests or schemas. Staff will balance the day to ensure children have their own time to explore and time being supported by their Key Person.

Children in this age group may have their own sleep timetable, however we do find that they quickly settle-in to our routines, as they don't like to miss out!
A typical day consists of breakfast, out in the pushchairs or garden, snack, activity, cooked lunch, activity, sleep, activity, tea, garden activity, snack, getting ready to go home.

Pictured below are some of the children from our caterpillars group enjoying some educational and fun activities.
